Targeting work within the WA tenements has included geochemical soil sampling, portable XRF surveys, airborne and ground geophysical surveys including gravity and radiometrics, airborne hyperspectral surveys, regional mapping and geomechanical modelling.
This has resulted in a number of targets being defined many of which still require drill testing. Numerous greenfield targets remain untested across the project area. A particular focus will be the structural corridor, adjacent to the regional unconformity, between Dazzler and the WA/NT border and exploring for unconformity related REE deposits.
The WA tenements only cover 12% of the Browns Range Dome, with the remainder in the Northern Territory (NT), most of which is covered by Northern Minerals’ tenure (approximately 1,200km2). Limited early stage exploration has been completed on the NT side of the Browns Range Dome, with airborne geophysical surveys, reconnaissance geological mapping and geochemical soil and rock chip sampling. The NT tenements will become more of a focus moving forward with the intention of identifying and defining drill targets within this vast unexplored area.
