Boulder Ridge Project

Boulder Ridge Project

Project Overview

The Northern Minerals’ Boulder Ridge Project is part of a tenement package covering the NT portion of the Browns Range Dome and extends southward toward the Tanami Gold mine. The tenements are contiguous with the Browns Range HRE project tenements.

Overview

  • Historical exploration activity at Boulder Ridge in the 1970s and 1980s identified high grades of TREO from rock chip samples
  • Northern Minerals work conducted since 2013 has confirmed the high grades with rock chip assays of up to 12% TREO and the confirmation of xenotime mineralisation
    • Samples show up to 1.15% Dysprosium
  • Results show a dominance of heavy rare earths (HREs), with up to 99% of the TREO being high value HRE

Drilling Program

The results to date reinforce the significant exploration potential of the Browns Range and Tanami regions which remain largely untested for xenotime-hosted HRE mineralisation.
Further work will be focused on drill testing the initial targets at Boulder Ridge as well as continuing to define additional new drill targets.
